This pen actually belongs to DD, but pens often change hands in our house, though they are always begrudgingly returned ;)
A lot of our pens are from Tesco, but, although price is a (rather considerable) consideration, it doesn't mean quality is compromised. They might not always be of the best quality, but they are never bad quality if you catch my drift.
Also, there is no call for snobbery regarding pens, I mean, it should be what is written (and the handwriting...yes mine isn't great, but I'm working on it, I want a Spencerian scrawl) that counts, yes? That said, not all (but most I guess) our pens are cheap. There is a certain attraction to a nice pen (the same that draws the eye to blank notebooks), that affects most writers...
