They bounced along on toadstools laughing at her astride the hare.
She beat them to the pond and dove in alone.
Now they all saddle hares.

About Us

Aoife- I am a teenage writer and poet. I love taking long walks to the sea, and then just sitting there watching it and watching birds. I like cycling too, down small country roads and little boreens to a small little field that maybe has a horse, or three cows and a magpie. I don't like silence, I like quiet. I like to hear birdsong and rustling leaves. I like to hike mountains and see the road winding below and think how lucky I am to be here and not rushing somewhere in a car. Mari(MM)- Journalist, writer, definitely not poet...But flash fiction's her game. Loves the brevity. The power in few words. The fact it gets done. Loves being possessed by characters, angst and any other emotion that can find release in fiction. If life throws you a curve, write a story. Also loves walks down county boreens, especially with the wee one!! Okay, Aoife, my teenager. Also loves to hike, with hubby and daughter in the Connemara mountains, lakes and more. All three have become fond friends of the bogs. Especially after having to plough through one during a hike! Is at peace with the sea and the wild Burren and Connemara winds.
